Music festival advertisements and branding

For this project I needed to create a festival poster/magazine advert, map and tote bag design, for the Indiefields festival, that targeted families and people aged 18-35. The designs needed to reflect the brand values of being sustainable, eco-friendly and plastic free whilst still creating a strong brand image and communicating all information and usp's

Poster Design

I used natural and hand drawn imagery to appeal to the target audience of families and link to the brand values. Also including elements like the website as a call to action, illustrations as leading lines, and artists playing at the festival to draw in fans.

Map/Guide Design

I included elements such as times to public transport, recycling points and wind turbines to promote the sustainability element of the brand identity. I also used iconography to make the map more user friendly and kept the same illustration style as the other products to link them together

Tote Bag Merch Design

I kept the same imagery used on both the poster and map, to create a strong brand identity and link the products together. On the back design, I included the artists playing to draw in fans, as well as what the bag is made of to promote the sustainable and eco-friendly brand values

Initial ideas and sketches

I explored different composition and layouts to see what would work best for achieving the products purpose, reflecting the brand identity and values, and drawing in the audience
